People used to think I was the top student in one. I loved Bruce Lee then.
I’ve got to stop saying things that make me sound gay.

12. Does your life tend to get better or worse or does it just stay the same?
Life sucks. Period. Whether its getting better or worse, depends on whether its better or worse now.

You’d think so. They’re just festering.

14. How do you handle a rainy day?
I don’t go out enough to play in the puddles. Used to ensure at least one walk in the rain when in Bombay.

15. Which is worse - losing your luggage or having to sort out tangled holiday lights?
Losing one’s luggage, I think. Nearly lost my laptop that way. And I hadn’t even got it then.

16. How is your relationship with your parents?
I love them, and they’ve always been there for me. I’m trying to ensure the latter is mutual.

Will you miss them when they are gone?
I currently can’t imagine life without them. Lets not go there, ok ?

At some level. Don’t always focus on everything though.

Life sucks, and that you shouldn’t focus on that fact.

I prefer my future to be hazy now. I want to have done so many things done at the end of it all; that I don’t know where to start. So, I barely start anything. I’ll get there eventually though.

In many things, yes. Did I deserve them ? No.

I try to be a giver. Don’t think that I’ve been a success at that though.

In Sanskrit - “Sati”-”eesh” is ‘Lord of Sati’; “eesh” being the form of ‘Husband’. It is a name of ‘Shiva’ hence, the most powerful of the Triumvirate of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva.

What is your favorite type of gum?
Am currently allergic to any form of chewing gum. I hate bubble gum because I can’t blow bubbles with it. Never happens.

79. Used to have more than 250 back home. And they all used to call.

Have 3 sets of address books. Absolutely no clue. And I’m not going to count them to write it down in a meme.

Nothing. My screen switches off after 20 mins of inactivity.

No major preference. I barely get any reading done in there when I do take something, anyway.

Which of your five senses do you think is keenest?
I wear specs, my nose is generally suffering from congestion, hearing is about average I think, and I know I can rarely taste and figure whats missing in something. My touch must be gentle, but I don’t know how sensitive.

When was the last time you had a cavity?
Think I had one in Jan, when I had a checkup. Probably have one now. My teeth have never been good.

What is the heaviest item you lift regularly?
Used to lift kilos of bread when at “work”, now barely anything. At max a few kilos of groceries and my laptop can be counted towards lifting things. Myself - you see me, and you’ll discount that.

Have you ever been knocked unconscious?
Yep. Fainted due to dehydration too, once.

If it were possible, would you want to know the day you were going to die?
Nope. The point ?

I wouldn’t. People know me by this name.

Writing generally. Photography is a very random thing - when things strike the eye. Used to paint, but haven’t in ages.

Black, and dark green. Maybe browns too. And thats ‘relatively not as horrible’, not ‘best’.

Something I’ve often wondered. Maybe a half-hour, maybe my entire term - assuming I was in prison.

Yep. Loads of times.

Nope. Never. I have my reasons.

I’m not Christian, so I don’t have to go to church. I’m Hindu, but I don’t much go to the temple either.

You can say so. Nearly fell off a mountain, and was held on to by a friend. There are others, but this was the one time I thought it was over.

Are you touchy feely?
In some ways, yes. Hands mainly. Otherwise, it can get too damn hot.

Do you believe that opposites attract?
I believe any two people can be attracted to each other, if their personalities find that common point.

Dream job?
My money working for me, so I don’t have to.

Favorite channels?
I don’t watch TV. Just the shows. Which you don’t have to watch on TV.

Favorite place to go on a weekend?
Drive around, find a place that makes the rest of it seem faraway; and crash. Never really had “weekend breaks”.. I prefer longer ones.

Showers or Bath?
Usually take a long shower. Baths stopped when I was like 8.

Do you paint your nails?
No. Though I have been forced to when young, in addition to being made to dress up like a girl. Talk of mental scarring Or metrosexuality.

Do you trust people easily?
No. I don’t open up either. I prefer people figure out everything for themselves. Then I might deign to be a little more explicit.

What are your phobias?
A little scared of everything, but am generally able to get a hold. Insects are higher up, however.. and pity/dislike of everyone I know.

Do you want kids?
Yep. And one is to be an adopted girl.

Nope. This is the closest thing to a diary I have ever kept in my life.

Where would you rather be right now?
Mumbai.

What makes you feel warm and safe? My mom's lap. Curling up with my sis. There was another on this list, but I think thats a pipe-dream for the rest of my life.
