Recognition is sweet. Even sweeter after an awesome musical performance. Even sweeter coming during a career that has truly transcended time, place and belief.
No matter that he has been felicitated so many times over that this is just one more feather in the cap. But its a feather that India has never really been a contender for.
A.R.Rahman wins 2 Oscars in one shot, for what I rate as one of his best till date, and nothing more need be said.

Since I post here so very often that you guys just cannot keep up with the flow in your Readers, I’ve made a very special, important and absolutely god-awesome post over at G’s blog. Which does not refer to porn at all. Ish.

Many many eons ago, when I discovered Squible and the concept of ‘aside’ posts (just involving links).. I had started off with the concept of gomutra and how it would be sold. And now.. *drumroll* I present the ultimate conclusion to that – the gomutra soft drink.

Always always bring camera when leaving NJ. Especially if its to Florida. And its a bright beautiful day. And the only things for miles around is Disney.
Yeah, I know. I’m the guy taking photos as best he can. Who will still manage to take better photos than you with a phone cam.
No matter what I get done, somehow the mystical art of paper writing continues to elude. Completely.
And I never manage to get done with my paper more than a day before the conference. Even that has almost never happened.
p.s. It is now the day before the conference and I’m still not done with my paper.
p.p.s. Just FYI, this conference is in Orlando. Yep, bang in the middle of Disney. I’ll get up, go out, look at Disneyworld, and then go back in to watch people talk about medical imaging. Man, this is so the reason I’m doing a PhD.
