Saying a lot, saying a little… who cares?
on the double
was updating my CSS, implementing suggestions from marie.. when i decided to upgrade my wordpress. and once you upgrade that.. i kinda.. well.. changed the theme to k2.
all i can say is beautiful. wordpress 2 has a beautiful interface, amazing features over the earlier version; and well.. k2 is probably one of the best themes i’ve seen. ever. combines everything from squible, to the simple elegance of aplus.. and wow.
as a tip.. check out the archives. just one of the few amendments..
oh well, get used to it.

pulling things off the back-burner

I’ve mentioned the general tendency for things to remain in ‘Drafts’ for way too long around here. Take for example, my deconstruction of ‘Raavan’ vis-a-vis ‘Raajneeti’.. which was started on 2 weeks ago. And has yet to see the light of day. I don’t think it ever will now. I can only wonder about what
pubsubhubbub test #2

Testing latency of post-updating on Google Reader, using Feedburner’s inbuilt PSHB feature, turned off WP plugin. Update: Even more instantaneous, published at 1439 hrs, appeared on Reader at 1439 hrs. I was PHSB enabled already (as I’ve been on FeedBurner for more than a year now), I just didn’t know it. Thanks to Louis Gray‘s

Edit (18 Jan 2010, 2334 hrs): Just showed up on my Reader. Supposedly published at 2331 on my blog. Probably working.. now you guys get to

This is the 4th attempt I’m making at trying for a halfway decent beginning to a post. Have I really been reduced to saying such banalities? I can’t quite believe it. When I look at my front page, most of my recent posts are about movies. Reviews, basically. Most of my recent posts have also
is blogging once a week really blogging?

Or should I resort to twittering? Given that I update my Facebook status once a day (as a rule of thumb), it seems I could tie it all up pretty neatly. Status update – twitter – blog post. But then you would be treated to such gems as ‘Satish is researching how to research’. Seriously.

Since I post here so very often that you guys just cannot keep up with the flow in your Readers, I’ve made a very special, important and absolutely god-awesome post over at G’s blog. Which does not refer to porn at all. Ish. Yes, that means you should go there and read it. Now.

i’ve jumped. from half to full. i’m not talking about cups. or bandwagons. or jacks. or pogo-sticks. or any other random association you might make. the fact that you’re reading this sentence in your reader, should give you a clue. i’ve read more than a few posts, such as this, and this, this, this, this,

no matter how many themes i change, i come back to k2. clean, mean, features, customizable.. i really need to make a custom style to this one and stick to it. and its developed beautifully. i wonder if the svn version is any cooler than the official release.. which has ajax magic, one-click customizable sidebars,

no really good themes out there in wordpress. back to minimalism for now. managed to add tag-code to everywhere necessary. need a good hack for ajax commenting, WP2.1 seems to have broken it. the google reader items are now in HTML pages, rather than modules. enjoy.

I’ve liked just about every new design you’ve done for your blog since the pink one that I knew. Really crisp.
